Get your blood flowing in this playful class that will introduce you to a different way to warm up, by pretending that you are dodging arrows.
We’ll use improvisation and imagery to get moving and work on our agility and coordination.
Being able to move our bodies quickly and reactively can be important, especially when we’re facing situations that may be hazardous (e.g. reacting quickly when a car drives towards us).
Training agility is therefore a good way to learn how to preserve the efficiency of our movements in a situation where we’ll have to react and act fast.
As for coordination exercises, they are extremely nourishing for our cerebellum, which processes complex movements. Training agility and coordination is, therefore, a great way to improve and maintain cognitive functions.
