Verve & mirth – 34 min

Play Video
What ?

A whole-body warm-up that focuses on coordination, agility, and personal exploration. Good music included.

Expect a decent amount of work for your cardiovascular system and some fun challenges for your brain.

Why ?

Being able to move our bodies quickly and reactively can be important, especially when we’re facing situations that may be hazardous (e.g. reacting quickly when a car drives towards us).

Training agility is therefore a good way to learn how to preserve the efficiency of our movements in a situation where we’ll have to react and act fast.

As for coordination exercises, they are extremely nourishing for our cerebellum, which processes complex movements. Training agility and coordination is, therefore, a great way to improve and maintain cognitive functions.

This title is so poetic 😉 I had a lot of fun with the practice and it got my heart rate going. Usually I dislike jumping squats, but you presented them in a fun and engaging way that I did not mind doing it at all 😀 Thanks again!
