Moving comfortably and fluidly on the floor not only feels exquisite, but it’s also a way to maintain our overall mobility. As we age, we tend to not spend any time on the floor, which removes a huge chunk of movement opportunities. That’s why it’s always good to take the time to roll around the floor 🙂
That was nearly like a modern dance lesson, but fun! Thanks!! Can I give one suggestion? Maybe you can first give a demonstration before we practice the move together. i am always eager to dive in and practice along, but I noticed some moves were not immediately easy to follow so I had to skip back a number of times. If you say something like: “I’ll first demonstrate the move (or sequence), and then we’ll practice it together” The lessons would become even more perfect 😀
Thank you for your feedback, that’s a good point ! I’ll do that next time 🙂
Ohh Noemie, I loved this , I love the intro floorwork is awesome I want more even though I cannot move as I would like but it is really fun to try and with time improve. I have not tried yet there other classes I prefer to do this more and get better, thank yo so much. More of this please
Thank you, Lucia, I’m really glad you liked it! It can take time to get the gist of the movements and find fluidity and ease when performing them, so it is a wise choice to practice them more and integrate them, before moving towards more complexity 🙂 I’ll continue to post floorwork tutorials in here, progressively building from the ground up so that you can progress step by step.
